Congratulations Silencer!!!

Newbs to drag racing never can understand how certain people can get cars to run really well... The fact that you have been drag racing for 19 years explains everything I need to know as to why YOU ran a 13.1... on the flip side, it always makes me laugh when bad drivers make a fast car slow!

I said it LONG ago (and some of you may remember) that a "good" driver would run a low 13 in this car.

A decent driver would run mid 13s and

A not so good driver should run high 13s.

I guess I was right!

um...you are wrong

I could care less what anyone runs with a stock evo - becuase anyone with half a b rain is going to modify their evo very soon - (I modified mine the first day I had it) - so it seems pointless to try to go fast stock - its irrelevant
um...i plan on keeping my evo stock. it has enough performance to keep me entertained and i would like to keep my warranty in tact. so to all those people posting "stock" quarter mile times....keep to it. cause some people ARE interested.

The stock performance is dull and slow . . . but I guess some people like driving Ford tempos also - so to each thier own - I wouldn't know what a warranty is - if stock stuff breaks its just a good excuse for another upgrade

I was at the track that day. You talked to my buddy with the blue WRX

Here's a video of one of your runs.

I hope this will show any non-believers out there....good to finally see an EVO out there, I used to play with DSM's and almost want to find another...

This is true of every car, not just the Evo8.

keep in mind that if silencer is good and fast on his shifts as well he can pick up damn near a 10th of a second just off that over someone who is more of a normal driver.. All factors added can make a big change in the end. just my 02.

Nice driving!

it looks good, no doubt about that, but this is what you guys do. you turn a track car into a drag car, when its not made for it. but i guess that what all americans do with their cars.
