those 435-420 are guesstimates from my tuner and I. It was on a dynojet, and the 389 numbers are correct. I mean i don't know if i'm just that horrible of a driver or my track is that ****ty, but i have heard rumors that our track is prepped so bad its about 1 second off. I wouldn't know cause it's the only place i've ever been
It's not track prep - that would only affect 60'. Your trap speed shows true power.
You should NEVER come on and say you have power you don't have. You and your tuner can't guesstimate 435whp on a stock 8 turbo - that is far beyond reality. That just isn't right to do such a thing. Again, you would NEVER be making 389whp on a VIII turbo with the tuning deficiencies you mentioned above. You wouldn't be guaranteed that power even with a great tune. I don't think you realize how high the numbers actually are.
It took 3-4 tries to get you to say Dynojet, but you still haven't said the correction factor used. You have to be much more responsive if you want help. As I said, 114mph is closer to 350whp on a Dynojet (uncorrected). I'm doing 117 with 335 on a DynoDynamics.

I honestly don't know the correction factor used. the shop who i had originally tune it isn't very good and neither are their ability to dyno. I emailed the shop asking for my dyno graph so i can post it up here. Lets even guess i have 400 hp even, is that still impossible, boosting the **** out of the stocker on e85?
Yes, 400 is definitely possible on E-85, especially with the AEM EMS and running big boost, but that is at the upper extreme of what the VIII turbo can do, especially an 03.
Anywhere around there is easy 11s, however, 389 would be easy 11s, too.

Ok, I'm looking at my slips here. on AVERAGE i'm trapping 116-117 at 12.35 with an average of 1.83 60'. I pulled a 12.24 with a trap of 113 with a 1.78 60' out of my *** somewhere and that is my best run so far with the EMS touching 26psi in 4th gear and 1st-3rd gear right around 23-24psi. Stupid manual boost controller
Ok, then the 116-117 does show close to 380whp on a Dynojet. You shouldn't just post 12.2 @ 114 when that doesn't give all the facts.
Oh, that's with the AEM EMS? Then NOW you're around 370-380whp. The MBC is probably not stupid. You _never_ see peak boost on the track, because you're never below 5500rpm. You hit peak boost at 3700rpm or so. What you're seeing for peak boost is after 1800rpm of taper. If you're talking about seeing that much boost on street pulls from 3000rpm, then it's low, but it's not because of the MBC unless you have something crappy. You didn't list it for some reason, so I'm not sure.

Ha, ok lets get this straight now. At my 389hp dyno, i ran a 12.6 but i don't remember what my trap speeds where, i wanna say right around 112. now i'm trapping 117ish. So there was definately a horse power increase, That's how we figured the extra 30 horse or so.
And I'm complaining about how my boost varies depending on loads and doesn't hold through each gear, i mean i can see 21psi in first but only 22psi in second is kinda lame. I think I'll have time to get it dyno'd this week sometime before this Friday when i run it again, so I'll be able to give everyone better numbers.

That's very normal - that's how boost works. Lower gears have lower boost due to less load. I guess you got confused into thinking that was an MBC problem.
Yes, if you went from 112 to 117, then you gained power, but 117 (assuming you did hit that - no timeslips posted yet), then that's 380-ish whp on a normal weight Evo.
