I also want to give a great big Thanks to David Buschur. He supported my T-Shirt business lending me a Table at the Shop and Also at the Drag Strip. I was able to promote my shirts and sell over 160 Shirts. I had a very good time and won't miss Next Year's shootout for anything.. It is truly the highlight of my summer.

It was great meeting you all there.. Thanks again fellas.

I think I saw ur car on I80. I was on my way back from Hartford, CT and the fumes from ur exhaust definitely woke me up after 10hrs of driving. I guess I should thank u, cause I was hurting.
Did "THE MAN" let u slide?

That is incorrect.

Project White did when the Evo stock appearing race class.

Chris Young (StreetThisEvo) won the Stock appearing dyno class.

Well guys the racing for us didnt turn out as planned... We ran qualifying on a bog and went 9.6@161mph.. then next pass we broke the hollow shaft in the trans.. We went back to Buschurs Shop and fixed it in time to make a couple runs late in the day.. 1st pass when we came back spun hard so we had to get out of it.. 2nd pass we blew the motor..

The good news is Crispeed is logging about 20 different parameters now with the haltech and we have found our problem.. Dave Buschur has sponsored us a Motor and we cant thank him enough for all the support.. When we set our goals this year I promised Dave we would shoot for the TOP.. He told us he would stand behind us all the way and he has kept his word.. In times like this to find a sponsor as willing to hand out parts as he is we are VERY VERY fortunate.. With a car at this level you have to assume things will break but luckily we have the problem figured out and i am confident we will not lose a motor due to the same issue again.. There are a few unique things about how our engine combo is setup that affected our car that didnt and hasnt affected Daves other cars.. Now we have a handle on it and will have it resolved and back together for more passes next week..

Without writing a novel I wanna say we met some very cool people.. It was a nice day at the track with no drama.. Just racing , hanging out and having a good time... Thanks for help from EMERY @ STM when we needed a few things... Thanks Chad and Caleb for the BBK turbo we are going to test in the next few weeks.. Thank you AL for running and supporting our products..Thanks to everyone at Buschur Racing.. Nick, Jarrod, Trent, Ted , Daniel, & David for the hospitality.. Daniel went with us back to the shop to help get the tranny repaired and missed quite a few hours of the shootout.. I cant thank him enough for the hospitality at his shop!!!

There is no Shootout or Race for DSM/ EVO enthusiasts like there is the Buschur Shootout!!!!

Congrats to AL for Placing 2nd in the FAST Q16 field.. Congrats to David for running the Bracket 9.1et Bad Bish all day in the heat without an issue..

This is what it's all about! Buschur helped us both huge during this event, although you were not as fortunate as us, we both broke/grenaded parts this weekend.

Yep it tend to do that as of late!
It sucks traction wise when the fronts are travelling at almost twice the speed as the rears but it does put on a smoke show though.
That probably will be the last time that ever happens.

My first of many videos

I am still demanding my refund as the event was way too crowded and I was unable to relax as much in the pits - I prefer a more empty race LOL

Seriously

I have had two years of nightmares with broken driveline parts becuase I don't know anything about suspension - I have asked for help from many and gotten zero assistance

Thanks from the botttom of my heart for helping me out with the AWD Spec D2 suspension as that is what made the difference for me and turned my car into a near bracket type machine this weekend - it really was a perfectly dialied in suspension right out of the box.

Also - I have been running the very same Buschur short block since last July all through the Pinks All out event - two summer slams - last years and this years DSM Shootout and the fall nationals at Etown - this has been the best motor and most reliable ever - thanks to my sponsor and friend Master David Bushcur for making the best motors in the business

Al

And you forgot they did not have your favorite ice cream flavor.
