My first time at the track

Well I took my car to the track last weekend for the first time and it was interesting. Had only tried launching my car once before going there so i had no clue what i was getting into. the car is on a stock tune (no 2step) with crappy tires.

mods:
-hard pipes with greddy bov
-3" TBE

I was able to pull off my best pass of the night on my third try, after two horrible launches. car #24.

13.44 is not bad for a stock car with full interior i'm sure...

if your only on tbe and hard pipes get a ecu reflash, a cone filter, and a mbc and wake that bad boy up.

60 foot time was pretty good gotta get that R/T down if you wanna take peoples money though.

Good job for your first time out. First time is too nerve racking, bet your second time you really kick some butt now that you know what youre doing.

Your in Geneva i would get with STM get a reflash and a mbc. But thats a real good 60'. I was doing 2.1 when i started. Your doing good man. Like everything with practice you will get better. And for time trial dont worry about your R/T, the clock dont start till you move.

Stay at it man. The only way you're going to get better is by continuing to go to the track

Yeah, that 60' isn't too bad. It's not like some 1.6's some are pulling off on street tires but 1.8 is not bad. Keep at it!

thanks, I do plan on getting a mbc and an ecu flash fairly soon from STM.

yes the car had a full interior and spare, plus car seat, wife's purse book and some extra clothing.

I ended up doing somewhere in the range of 15 passes, half in the 13's and the other half 14-15 because of bad starts or mis-shifts.
