Thank you all for you interest in this product. Among our many other projects here at Mickey Thompson Tires we have indeed been working on the 26.0/7.0-17 ET Drag tire for the modern sport compact market. We believe the tire is nearing the end of the initial development phase. Until we have a product which we feel is 100% ready for the market there will be no updates on the availability. Predicting the availability of a new product is very difficult due to the fact it may take several attempts before the manufacturer is satisfied with a product to bring to market. I will say that the product will be a Non-DOT approved, Bias-Ply Drag Tire. The tire, dimensionally will be very similar to the 26.0/7.0-17 ET Drag Motorcycle Tire however it will feature a standard Automotive J(ISO) bead contour, script on the sidewall indicating “For Automotive Use Only” and a few other structural changes which will yield a more acceptable profile for automotive applications.
