I just ordered a set of these and will be using them for th first time this coming weekend at IFO. I was just woundering for those peeps that are or have used these tires, should I do a burn out from the water box or avoid the water altogher and just launch them with out a burn out. Thanx

I ran these back in November I would definately recommend a burnout just to atleast clean them off from debris you will pick off the track

i use them. i have not done a burn out on them. if you decide not to make sure you go around the water box. if you do a burn out role threw the box and then do you burn out.

best of luck

If I were you I would make a couple passes without doing a burnout to see how they feel.

i agree with wizzo and evodan get a feel for them, than you can decide if you wnat to roll thru the water box. burn-outs are hard on everything, so why do one if you don't have to? besides i think its cooler to just roll up stage and book

p.s. can i ask how much for the tires and where did you order them from? G/L

I was thinking the same thing about not doing a burn out cause i didnt want to much unnecessary stress on the car car. I got the tires from summit for $906 shipped. I ordered them friday morn and got them today( tuesday).

Yes I had them mounted on a set of Evo 8 wheels. It looks pretty mean on my car. Its all blacked out (Car and wheels) then you see these big white HOOSIER letters. My wife said with them on my car is in beast mode. LOL
