Took the EVO to the track last night.

Well with the Vishnu stage 1+ package here are the results. Before you flame it was the first time at the track for the EVO. The only problem I had was shifting into 2nd gear it was grinding bad and the clutch was starting to slip a little. I think I will get the bushings. Also time to get a new clutch. I think after I get the bushings, new clutch, and play witht the tire pressures I could get into the 11s. I just have to adjust the nut behind the wheel first.

r/t .246
60' 1.788
330 5.217
1/8 8.051
MPH 86.11
1000 10.512
1/4 12.559
MPH 109.64

If anyone can help me post a video from a Sony digital camera , I will post a video of that run spanking a Shelby Cobra(no traction)

Just curious. I can't wait until my track opens up. BTW did shiv custom tune your car or are you using someone's else map from dyno day. I recall the onsite map for 1+ sucks.

Yes I have that map that sucks? I would like to get custom dyno, but I am not going to spend that money until I put bigger turbo on.

What fuel were you running? Those are slightly better numbers than my best pump gas run, but just like you I need to adjust that nut that holds the wheel My best 60' was a mild 1.849

I was running 100 octane. On another run I actually had 60' of 1.62 but then missed 2nd gear and ran a 12.82.

If you have 100 octane in the car and are on a 93 octane shelf 1+ map, that's a pretty decent time. Custom tuning will rock your world! Take advantage of it when you get a chance.

Just didn't work well on my car Perhaps perfect on yours? I had kept getting random misfires with that map. My car didn't run well expecially in temps below freezing. Custom map was much better but you probably don't have to worry about it since you live in climates similar to California. Anyways, pretty good times.
