a good thought. may have to mix to get 93. not sure if al can tune to 93 if the car is running 100, and to purchase the 104 that they sell here in town all the time would be $$$.
last I checked was $4.95 a gallon.
where is the station?

It is is Roy, Utah, which is about 25 miles North of SLC. It is a Phillips 66. Let me know if you need directions. The only places in Boise that sell 93 are Stinker Stations right? Thats the only place that sold it when I lived there a year ago.

directions would be great...yes you are correct...stinker in boise sells 93, and the lone stinker at the corner of franklin and main in meridian sells 94. they are the only stinker to sell 94(not sure why...my aunt has worked in the stinker main office for 35 years and cannot explain that one either)....
have debated the whole ethanol issue since they use it as an additive and I have heard both pros and cons to using it in the car... figured if ethanol gums up the injectors, a good excuse to install larger ones..

stinker here is just re-branding sinclair gas...might look around and see if you have any sinclair stations around that are selling 93 or 94. I think that most of the gas in the boise valley comes out of a pipe from slc...

Worse comes to worse you will just need to figure out how many gallons of 100 to add to a partial tank of 91 to get the mix you are looking for.

if you use higher octane gas it will be tuned for that gas!!! what he does is tunes your a/f's for pump gas but your car will love for him to add timing because of the good gas so if it's better than 93 you will go back to your gas & it will knock like a bastard...

al again can i give you my cc info to put down a deposit for my custom tune??? or i can give my money to scott & he can paypal it to you!!!! let me know thanks.

That is why he is trying to get 93 octane, which is what he runs in Idaho. He just wants the custom tune based on the correct gas, not 91 octane.
