Beware Dynoflash Is A Ripoff
I have dynoflash and it made a huge difference for me, along with 5 of my evo pals here in Colorado.
I am an old WRX dude and I know about Al and his crazy antics.....but the fact of the matter is he has one of the highest output/quickest Evos on the board and used to have one of the baddest WRXs in the country.
I am sorry for your frustration but before dynoflash(completly stock) I was 204whp after the dynoflash and an MBC I was up to 238whp. Mind you this is 6000ASL!
good luck to you!
Cheers,
Nate

There is no way the Dynoflash is causing a 4.5psi drop in boost. I have a Dynoflash and was getting some boost drop (about 3psi). I was pretty sure it was either the stock bov or the mbc. I replaced my mbc and I am now getting a steady 20 psi..without any dropping.
There aren't very many unhappy Dynoflash customers. I know I'm happy with mine...
BTW, I don't think Al can reply to this post because it is in "Evo general" forum....I think he can still only reply to posts in the Dynoflash forum. Maybe a mod should move it there

I'll tell you what, my *** can feel a huge difference between 18psi and 21psi. I bet 3psi makes about a 15 to 25WHP difference.
Just for reference, the crank HP is just a reference, it's not mean't to be taken literally... every dyno can be calibrated to report different "estimated" crank HP... the XS dyno estimates the crank HP lower...
So in actuality XRS, you have higher than stock HP according to base EVO numbers on the XS dyno... by like 5-10whp....

just to make one thing clear. Even if Al's tuning didnt suck, which it does, he says GUARANTEES ur money back BUT HE REFUSES to give me a rufund. he GUARANTEES u can re-sell the flash at no extra cost to the buyer of the flash with no time limit. HE WANTS TO CHARGE $50 to them for fees such as "electricity" What, Al cant afford to turn his laptop on for 2 minutes?

i may have read the boost number incorrectly. its in the neighborhood of 3-4 psi and when i removed the flash my boost has been fine dropping no more than 1psi.
al is an *******, he is right, I dont see how he is still in business anyways, flashes are gay, and AL doesnt even have a stock ECU in his car, he has AEM now. There are alot of Evos down here that bashed me at first for talking **** about him, but now that they have made the switch, they see what the deal is. Good luck and everybody stop buying the flashes.
