This sounds fishy... I think you told the dealer you had a flash, the whole story is not being told... a flash cannot be detected.

What ever the details - I would appreciate a call to discuss your situation and how it happend with the dealer.

I remember your car now

I think you should just bring it to us and I will fix the issue you have with the bov / boost line and put it back on the dyno to test it to see what kind of power it is making. There will be no charge for the dyno time and re-tune if that is required.

Just give me a call in advance to set up a time - looks like there may be rain this weekend and we will be free all weekend long

I hope you located the MR valve - they seem to be hard to aquire

well said brother, i wouldn't expect mitsu to warranty my car at all right now... i couldn't be happier with my flash or the customer service from Al, as soon as my cams go in, i'll be sending my ecu right back to him. all these folks just seem to be looking someone to point a finger at when something goes wrong...one douche bag points at someone and others reading their little hearts out and believing every word of the bs say the same thing. WHERE THE MODS AT???

FYI. there is no way a dealership can detect if you have a flash or not. Other than possibly driving the car and noticing that it had a higher than normal redline, which is the only way one could tell. Even hooking up a MUT (mitsu diag tool) you will not be able to tell by a side by side comparison. I know I used to work for them and have played around with such tools. So it would seem that they are just trying to bluff you and you fell for it.
On a different note I personally do not have a dynoflash on my car cause I am running the AEM but I would if I was still on stock ECU.

I still want to know how they found the flash. Like someone said, you probably told them.

What he said!! ^^^ It's like crack.. send your ecu in, try it out, and you'll be hooked. You'll start planning a custom tune for just that little bit more HP you can squeeze out.

Good luck to you. Please don't let these obvious haters ruin a good mans business. Look at all the negative posts. You'll notice they come from only a handfull of people. Then go read the "I just got Dynoflashed" thread sticky'd in the Dynoflash section. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=62708

Hundereds of people just loving their tunes! ..just like me!!!

I keep seeing all of these posts saying that mitsu voided this warranty or that warranty. I just dont get it, they cant void a warranty if you dont bring them the car with a problem. i.e. they shouldnt be claiming to drop your warranty when you bring the car to them for an oil change or something simliar. Also, as you all know, when you do bring the car into the dealer, the problem needs to be related to some mod that you did, i.e. you melted a piston from running lean from a bad tune or something. Take the damn thing to another dealer. I've got a few mods on mine and I had to bring it in because of a gear grind and they fixed it under warranty even with my mods because none of my mods are related to having a bad syncro. I've been dealing with Mitsubishi for 11 years now, owning five seperate models and to be honest, the dealers suck, they always have and they always will. You really just need to take the car to a different dealer, a rare few are decent people and decent businessmen.
