In Evoscan, the default gear formula is x/[Speed].

How do I interpret what is being logged to determine the gear of vehicle?

It doesn't seem right when logging.. going 99 mph in 2.1 etc..Sorry if this is a newbie question, but I am a newbie.

Thanks.

got a quick question....i just downloaded evoscan v2.8..before i connect to my car i am wondering what option i am supposed to choose from..ie. the options on the top left corner? do i choose mitsumutIII then choose the "efi" option in the ecu drop drop down tab?... basically just wondering what exactly i need to enable or choose before i plug into my car.

Hi Milford. Yes, you'll want to select Mitsubishi MUTIII and the EFI Ecu. Also select the correct OP cable you are using; 1.3 or 2.0

I rarely log gear in Evoscan, so I can't provide much help, but I think if you round it to the nearest whole number it should give you the correct gear.

After that you take a look the folder is also deleted... if not... do it

Restart

And new install of a "NON" Beta version with the old driver... After all connect your tactrix to the notebook (not the car) and "BING BING" New hardware found and the rest will do the computer.

Never use a "BETA" Version for a flash... That's just for developer and they know how to reactivate a bricked ECU.

Try this...

I have not been using a beta version of ecuflash. I'm still getting no connection after uninstalling and reinstalling. When I try to reinstall, I am now getting the "error opening file for writing" errors for the op20pt32.dll and FTD2XX.dll files. I have also tried ecuflash on my girlfriends laptop and it works. Something is up with this netbook (asus eee 1005ha running win7 ultimate to remind folks).

I would really like to be able to use my netbook for logging. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yup, I've tried everything with 1.42.

I tried beta version 1.43.300 and it works so I'm just gonna go with that. Seems to be working fine.

When logging with Evoscan, is it possible to display a real-time graph while the data is being received?

Yes. Go to Graph & Maptracer at the top, then Realtime Data. Check what you want to graph.
