In my logs, TPS doesn't show right, I get some real numbers (20-40-100) but I get many 133.333.3333 etc

why? How to solve this?

Before anyone asks I have tried just about everything I could find on Evom. I am using windows 7 and just purchased a brand new 1.3 cable it worked fine to read my original rom but now that I want to write or even read I get the following error. I did not change a thing since I pulled the original ROM. I tried boosting the battery voltage but I will not start the car and try that route because I need to establish a startup tune.

I have an AEM wideband serial>usb, I can log the wide band external but it only reads it for a bit secs then it randomly stops and freezes on the last afr reading.. evoscan still works fine, only the "external wideband" section locks up.

does anyone know how to fix this? ive tried v2.5 v2.6 v2.7 and v2.8 and they all do the same. I'm using windows 7, would that be affecting anything??

 

Hi,
i have a problem when i scan ACD/AYC for code on a evo ix. All code appear. I have instal a new ACD pump and a rebuild transfer case and all 3 light of ACD appear when i run my car in first speed and other speed. I Bleed the systeme again and again. I have no air in the system. I would scan for seach a problem. My setup is a 1.3u cable from evoscan and evoscan v2.8. My pc have windows vista. Help me plz.

 

I'm having the exact same problem in my 03 gsr.
-uninstalling ecu flash
-reinstalled
-now i'm going to try an older version if available, i'll keep you updated.

 

ok this might be a noob question but I havnt used ecuflash or evoscan in over 2 years (evo was in storage) But im trying to add some definitions to the evoscan data xml file but I cant find it. I am running 2.8 any ideas?

 

How do you change your rom? for how much everyone does this it sure is hard to find out how exactly to do it.

it looks like you've not connected the small reflash connector from that output?

 

I did connect the flash connector!

 

can you start the car? then connect the reflash connector? as this should then stop the car if not then you might have a break in that wire. did you cut any wires to fit the FC?

 

^^actually this is myh friend evo 8 But He bought used. He blow his entire motor and When he rebuild motor and use stock ECU the car could not start at that time. So he switch to Power FC for awhile and now I tried to use his stock ECU last night and I coould not get it works. The car could not start when I put stock ECU ? but If I switch to FC the car was just fine.

Is there a ROM swapping for beginners thread somewhere? I just can't figure out what to paste where to get the tables to show up in ECUflash when I open my ROM.

 

Looking at my saved data logs in evoscan the rpm stops counting at 7968 and won't go higher. I rev to 8500 and logs and I'll get 6 or 7 lines all showing 7968 at the end of a log???
