The gear ratios should be good already, the only variable that changes is the overall weight and tire size-

For example my car weighs 3400 with me in it being a SSL 04
My tires are 245 45 R17 so they are 25.681"

My evoscan HP/TQ (360/340) is only about 25hp and 10tq more than what I make on a mustang dyno but consistantly so, so I bet it's accurate

I could not get mine to be consistant, same road, same section, same gear, same roll on, same time of day, temp, etc... Mine would report from 450hp to 260 randomly throughout the log.

but for an evo 8 mr there isnt one, so would it make a difference to use the evo 9 6spd?

I must be doing something wrong.

Have to log for 2 byte rpm and speed.. it kinda worked for me but I don't know what my car puts down so I can't say if its even close..

For the most part templates will work from .97 to .99. The only thing I found so far that didn't work was the RPM readings. I did make up a new set using .99.

You can download them here:
http://home.mchsi.com/~deviaant/Defi2v99.zip

There is an installation instruction file included in the .zip

i was getting the same thing.. but i think i figured it out... when you are looking at the power log, you definately need to make sure that all of the above that are mention are adjusted (within reason). i took the weight of the car and added 250 lbs to include my weight and gas weight.

now i am not POSITIVE whether or not this had anything to do with it, but at first i was data logging while i was in 3rd gear rolling. i was getting all sorts of whacked numbers... i think i got like 650 HP which im no where near. then for some reason i tried data logging from a dig... i did it once mashing through 1, 2, and 3rd and it was somewhat accurate. when i went generally low rpm (about 3) shift, and in third do a pull, is where i found it to be even more accurate. i am not garunteeing that your results will be perfect or close, im just adding in to what i found to help get better readings for the hp/tq map

happy tunings

Thanks, that's sweet, I can't wait to try it out.

I always figured lurking would payoff someday.

When I look at my log, all I am seeing is rpm and timing advance. It doesnt show hp or torque in the graphs. I click on "calc. power and torque" and it shows the colors at the top for hp and torque but they dont appear on the graph. Anyone else experiencing this?

You must be forgetting something, my HP/TQ results are very consistant from log to log and do show higher or lower with respect to changes in rpm vs time slopes between logs.

Something is a little strange however, my hp curve will continue upwards until I abort pull at 6800 RPM, hp curve should be downwards long before that. I dont log that much past 7K since I do so many of them.

Another thing I need to find is how to change the line color, I can't see the orange tq curve with the sky blue background at all

Evoscan 0.99 is great. Thanks Hamish.

Has anyone tried using gauge templates from 0.97 in 0.99? I have not been able to get that to work yet.

Scott,

Did you move the XML files from 0.97 into 0.99 gauge layout and gauge template folders ?

Also they have some new awesome OEM gauge templates that you can
download. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=261612

QUESTION: Have you been able to get Evoscan to log Zeitronix a/f ratio and boost ?

If so ...
