I don't think the WGDC makes a difference then with the MBC. If you were on ECU boost though you'd be overboosting like crazy I'm guessing.

Yes 100% is factory settings. The factory pill is sized for factory boost.

If you are running a 3 port or OEM bcs with a upgraded pill you will run much lower duty cycle.

Yes 3-port BCS's are run with straight vac lines and no pills.

You can run a pill with an aftermarket BCS but its a tradeoff between quick response and smoothness/controllablility. Generally the latter is not an issue.

I'm having trouble getting my boost to drop down to the level I want. I'm chasing about 23 psi, but even with the WGDC and BEC tables zero'd out, I'm still hitting and holding about 24psi. See attached pic of the WGCD table and a log showing the WGDC in action. Note that I've got the 100% wastegate duty load set to 150.

I'm running the mods in my sig. The turbo has a FP 18psi actuator. Have I got too much preload on the actuator, or is there another setting somewhere I should check?

What solenoid do you have? Have you tried running with just a pipe from the turbo outlet to the WG? You should get 18psi with that.

I'm running a Grimmspeed 3 port. Haven't tried connecting the turbo outlet hose directly to the WG yet.

Check your boost adder. Whatever you put in the boost table it will be added to the boost adder, so 0psi on the table will not actually be the target.

That is incorrect, his BEC is zeroed out, and his log is showing 0 WGDC so obviously nothing is being added.

Boost adder and desired boost table will do nothing if BEC is zeroed out.

I'd imagine there is too much preload on the WGA

Guess I didn't read his post carefully enough.

Thanks Razorlab. That's my hunch as well - just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything silly in the ECU settings before I took some preload off it.

I though when it is when you have wgdc zero'd you get full boost. Meaning the wastegate is is not being used at all. Isn't that the way it works?

No, if you have WGDC tables zeroed out with BEC off, you would get wastegate pressure.
