I solved the boost problem and now I get constant boost 25-26psi in 4th and 5th gears and only 20-21psi in first 3 gears
We did some tests with a WRX also tuned by me, which does 12,3s quarter mile, and he beat the evo with 2 car lengths with rolling start and with start from zero, the evo jumped 1 car ahead, then the WRX recovered and after half mile it was ahead by approx 6ft.
I want to make this evo faster than the WRX, which has only the turboback exhaust, cold air filter and a blow-off.

There's something wrong with that Evo. A stock Evo should blow away a WRX with just a TBE.

don't get me wrong, that WRX is very fast even I could not believe how fast it can be. 12.2-12.3s for an almost stock WRX is fast !
the only problem with evo is that in the first 3 gears the boost is only 20-21psi and in 4th and 5th stays flat until the redline at 25-26psi. It is also running a little rich and the timing is not pushed too far yet.

12.3's with a practically stock STi? Nah. They can barely achieve their stock rating most of the time. Something is up there.

It's a WRX, our STI is even faster, today after I changed the pill on the STI, just like on the evo (I didn't know abou this before), it's very fast, much faster than the WRX, so it should be under 12s. We will test it with a GTECH these days, but I want to finish this evo, and to make it faster than the WRX.

I am talking about WRX, but our STI Limited have full race exhaust, CAI and APS blow-off, the STI is actually the fastest car around here, it also beat an EVO IX tuned by someone else, who maybe is also on this forum, which have upgraded cams, bigger injectors, race clutch, full exhaust,... I really want to see what our WRX does against that EVO IX

no way a TBE'd WRX will take an evo...

WRX with a TBE and a mail in tune will put out ~160 atw...

Most EvoIX's stock are 150-160

Don't think we are ******* the WRX's here, we all respect them just as much as an Evo (well, the STi versions preferably). Just so you know we aren't dissing the Subie's just cuz we have Evo's

If your getting 25-26psi in 4th and 5th but only 20-21psi in 3rd you have not fixed the boost problem. What kind of boost control are you using?
