Does anyone make one I can just buy?
I believe a member named "Fast Freddie" makes them, but Im not 100% sure.

It's beneficial because you can get more accurate readings, you can have a controlled environment, and do as many pulls as you want without getting in trouble with the law.

just remember when the initial post was written. Don't believe everything you read on any forum. There are too many "know it alls" and smart asses who love pointing things out they don't fully get themselves. Others correct things when they don't take certain facts into account.

this write-up sometimes cause people more harm than good and is in NO way "complete".

hi all,

i read carefully the initial post (and many other in this forum)
and i have one (and simple) question.

i live in greece (an i am a happy owner of an evo 9 2006 model)
and here we have 100RON gas (my manual recommends >98RON).

so my question is..
how different the guide would be for me..?
what things do i have to keep in mind because of the 100ron gas..?

ps: i am NOT a mechanic..just a hobbyinst.
ps2: sorry for my poor english.

cheers,

michael.

Maikcat, the guide applies the same way to you. With the slightly higher octane rating you might be able to sneak in an extra ° of timing, but the actual process is the same.

Correct me if I am wrong, but can't the Ecuflash software read in the wideband signal right from the PCM harness? Why do you also need this serial cable for reading in the o2?
