No, raising timing to 11 or 12 when you already knock at 10 is going to cause even more knock. In that instance you need to lower timing to get rid of knock.

Innovate Logworks program, using a ECUflash definitions/patch.

Evoscan also has a maptracing feature. It doesnt work for some people, but I have always had good luck with it.

Is it possible to open more than one log and see averages with EvoScan map tracer? I can't see any way to do it, but the author of this sticky seems to imply you can at one point. Is it possible with Logworks, since that's what he was using?

The OP used Logworks for tuning, AFAIK.

In EvoScan, go to the "Graphs & Maptracee", then "Maptracer - AFR & timing vs load". Load your log.

Then right click on the lower grayed box, and select "load ROM", then pick your ROM.

Can anyone for the life of me please load to me?? I watched the intro to ecuflash video's on youtube, and from the video I got that anything above 100% the turbo is spooling up?? And anything below 100 turbo isn't spooled?? I also got from the video it's basically airflow entering the engine?? Basically I'm looking for a simplier definition for my small brain. Any input would be great.

Thanks Alex

Yes, load is pretty much how much airflow is going through the MAF. In my case I start getting positive boost pressure around 90 load, but usually above 100 load is positive pressure.

exactly. the more air that the MAF reads, the more load that the ECU interprets.

make sense?

Thank you very much for you reply.

So what's the max it interprets?? Can I change it to a different scaling besides load???

Thank you Alex

you want it to read load so it correlates to your maps. I guess if you really wanted, it could all be customized. But in a sense, 100 load is close to 0psig, 200 load is close to 14.7psig and 300 load is close to 29.4psig at sea level. But there are also alot of other factors that affect how the ECU calcs load, so those boost/load numbers wont always be spot on with the stock MAF setup.

The raw output of the MAF is hz. hz, temp, baro, plus some more stuff (??) is where the load comes from. Unless youre running speed density
