Let's see your fully tuned timing maps
id say its a combo of the stock ic and 26psi. why spike so high? on stock cams im using 4* at peak with not an ounce of knock on 24ish psi, and may go up to 5* eventually.
I honestly dont normally run it that high, usually 22-23 psi. I kinda got antsy and turned it up and decided to tune for a higher boost, so my map was more completely tuned. Ill probably turn it back down, especially since I autocross. Id really like to upgrade my intercooler and see what kinds of gains can be made. I def know cams run less timing. For a while i was running a lot more timing in these areas. however I started tuning in the dead of winter so, as I find a hotter day, i find that I cant make the same power and run the same timing. lol

this was a long attempt at smoothing/upping spool timing by me. you can see its not that good still, there were areas i couldnt figure out how to smooth without changing areas i didnt want to change.

then i stuck it in the spreadsheet.

much better.

Where do I get this smoothing spreadsheet?
Thanks!
The big maps one I couldn't get a good download of
The excel files are a good start to getting your maps smoothed out, but for optimal results you need to spend some time doing it manually afterwards
Here's how my graph looks, I won't post my map since it's originally based on a tune by tscompusa (unless you dont mind Tom)

Yeah for me I helped because I have an easier time having it start smooth and then just keep my changes smooth, smoothing a chunky map was becoming way too overwhelming an I was winding up with values I didn't want to be using in important areas.
I also likethat the sheet shows you the change between two maps so I could track how many degrees I was adding.
