Thanks guys, did 3 pulls, I just posted the 1.

I've done some back to back runs and the car actually went better when it was rich, but was wanting to sort one issue at a time and focus on the timing first. Maybe it liked the rich mixture with the lack of timing.

I'm at sea level, well close to it, a 5 minute drive and I'm there. I'm running 95 ron fuel. I have not cleaned the MAF, but will do that too. I've had cold running issues and changed the MAF last week and for a week it ran fine, now its started running crap cold again. Plugs are BR7ES. Low Octane is generally a few degrees lower, but did not change the low octane after I increased the timing last night.

is it bad if I'm consistently getting 1 count of knock around the same areas?

like sometimes its from 2500-3000 rpm sometimes from 3000-3500 sometimes 3000-3700 I'll get 1 count of knock throughout the whole range... never more, just 1 count. I know I'm supposed to look for 3 counts... but should I try retarding timing or something if I'm getting 1 count consistently?

Mine as well. Almost always does my first log produce knock counts and then they never occur again during a tuning session even if I log again without making adjustments to the tune.

i wouldnt worry about it. all cars knock sometimes, as long as its not 3 or more counts.

if your really paranoid you can try retarding it 1* but i would just leave it

Yeah, so far I've left it alone. I'm making around 300whp with basic mods on a safe tune so I'm happy for now.

if it gets any worse, then of course lower the timing

You have knocks because your timings go done in that area - 6000 = 10, 6100 = 9.
Must do it like this
6000 = 10
6100 = 11
6200 = 12 etc.
This will fix the issue.

No. His timing went down because he had knock. His timing map doesn't go down.

on this picture. 2 knocks pushed from 10 to 9??? Or deacrease of timings from 10 to 9 made 2 counts of knock?

that would be the knock that reduced his timing, as you can see on his timing map, if you take a look at 6000 rpms, and 260-280 load area its at 9*, BUT the ECU tried to increase the timing in anticipation for the upcoming cells that are 10*, then it knocked, so it retarded the timing back down to 9*

Well, I leaned it out this morning, increased timing by 1 degree in most fields and knock was really bad. Dam Evoscan didn't sound the alarms I had set up, it seems sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. AFR's were low 11's. I've done some back to back logs with lower timing and the car seemed to like the richer mixtures, in the high 10's tapering to mid 10's. I probably should not have changed the fuel and timing at the same time in the latest logs. I need to figure out how to get my boost to taper more as well. Fuel is 95RON if that makes any difference.

Sounds like your wideband might not be reading properly. You shouldn't be running that rich, especially with that low of timing.

I'm checking with Zeitronix on the O2. Will get a log up soon, but its not pretty. Even did a log on the old map, same as the previous one I posted, got different results, car was leaner, even with the same fuel map. Could be a fuel pressure issue, but that only explains the inconsistency in the logs, not why the car is getting knock and why it likes the rich AFR's. I also got some MAF cleaner, so will give that a going over tonight as well.
