PATCH: KNOCKCEL+NLTS+AltMap (V4)
My thinking is using the stock solenoid as a bypass solenoid which you can buy from alky kit manufacturers. Why buy something we might have already
Two scenario's, have it open fully to allow the wastegate to fully open when activated and drop boost pressure to 12psi
or
Have the boost map set for a predetermined amount (like 22psi for evoryder's setup). Under normal conditions, the boost goes thru the MBC, when activated, boost follows path of least resistance (boost soldenoid set to 22psi...or whater you set it to).
Just throwing ideas around.
Yeah, I'll keep the failsafe discussion out of here, I actually have one in the water/alky section but most ECUflash guys never browse that section. If anyone knows how to move these posts into a new thread, go for it

I currently have a AEM tru-boost and a FP actuator. So the failsafe will just cut the power to the aem solenoid, making the car run the base 18ish psi from the actuator. Makes the setup easier to setup.
Wow, that sucks Tephra. Hopefully it wasn't your fault. Is everyone OK?
There only apears to be three hex changes from 4.1 to 4.2. It would be much easer to change those three values in my altered 4.1 than to copy all my maps again. Would that cause any problems?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Welcome to the club my man...
On the bright side, I can second the verification of V4.1 working. Seems to work flawlessly for me. I havent tried valet yet but nlts and alt maps work for sure.
Edit: AAH crap! What's 4.2 now?! I can't keep up!

Crap! Sorry to see those pics tephra. I'll make sure to send you a donation to help and I hope you get back on the road quickly.
I just want to clarify the ICS coming on when flashed and what I think happened in my case. First, I tried flashing the 4.0 rom which immediately caused the ICS to come on, and the car wouldn't start. I flashed back to my previous ROM. Later, I flashed the 4.1 version and the ICS came on but went off when I hit the ICS button (manual or auto, I'm sure I tried both). Since then it's worked fine and hitting the manual switch causes it to stay on for the 500ms I have it set to.
