anyone with 96420007/8 ROM running JDM MAP sensor

Is anyone out there successfully running the JDM MAP sensor on an Evo 8 with a 96420007 or 96420008 ROM?

Me! Just saw this, thanks again mrfred. Looks like all your hard work was for one car. I finally got a chance to get ECU-based boost control dialed in, no probs yet. Although, I cannot seem to log MAP correctly with Logworks. The evoscan expression (something like: .19437*x-Local Atm.) seems to give me psia in logworks. I.E. evoscan MAP= 20 psi, logworks = 34 psi. I PMed nj1266 b/c I know he is a diehard logworks user (like myself).

Thanks for helping me out with getting it working with this ROM. :-)

I've tried Logworks, and I know you love Logworks, but it sucks for logging data from the ECU. Its very very very slow.

It is a bit of a catch 22. I really like logworks presentation. You really can only log absolute necessities (afr, timing, load, rpm, knock). Evoscan is faster but it is sooooo finicky with the LC-1, I end up wasting so many logging runs. I end up using a mixture of both and a lot of excel.

In a week or two, there will be a solution for high quality WBO2 logging using EvoScan (or Mitsulogger or jcsbank's developmental logger).

mrfred, dummy question, what is the reason that logworks is slow? Please enlighten me!

Wish I could say, but I don't know. It only seems to be slow with data being logged from the ECU. Its very fast at logging data from the wideband and its analog inputs.
