SAS Hardware
How much boost is it making between shifts? That is the only part that matters. Are the injectors being over run? Woo hoo pops and bangs. I can get that just by putting -10 in the low load area of the timing map but it doesn't give me any boost. Dont get me wrong Im not *****ing. I'm happy that it has come this far. I don't know any computer programing language so I have to depend on the guys on this forum. I'm always willing to donate to the cause. I just dont see the point of putting my anti-lag hardware on if it doesn't function.

I need to log boost to show the differences if there are any (I firmly believe there are).
looks like 4wdrifter found a really good way to go about it.
from what i can tell it doesn't really make boost but it does drive smoother. i am in fact running the ROM that dolphin888 sent me. i pasted my tune into the tables. it gave me all the tables for the ALS.
wow, freaking awesome. I wonder why dolphin couldnt get it to work.
well you did it the easy way. congrats. I am looking forward to some video for shizzle.
does it sound the same as mine or on other clips...it all sounds pretty standard...

hehehehe,
you'll get used to it.
after a bit lower the timing even more. :-) If you keep the speed and rev limit on for ALS, really no worries.
with -10 degrees not much difference...
how soon does it activate when you lift throttle? mine takes the milisecond...when it is medium hot you can kinda feel the pressure just build in the DP and then BAM lol.
when it is hot, it works great.

i have it set at .1 after lift off. i can usually get pops out about 1 second after lift off. if i'm on it it will pop about 3 times between shifts. it is pimp as hell. it is hot here so it is working really well. this morning when i went to my local shop i had just air injection and i got some really good pops to the point that my tuner was like what the F...
hahahaha.
mine is at 0.
yea I know the upshift bangs...3 of em...sounds about right.
It is louder inside the car, at least for me...
when I was taking video I thought for sure all the little sounds would be heard, (camera sucks though) but not the case...only the bangs
with more lowered timing...the pops go away. (pops being the "smaller noise")
they turn into bangs instead :-)
congrats #2 hehehe

Because I never tried, I bought all the stuff from various places around the globe and stored in my garage for year he he... I was too lazy to make everything working in one piece..
P.S. Where is VIDEO??? I wanna see it

guys,i have jdm evo 7 with stock ALS hardware,i edited the tables in my tephra 90550001 rom and added negative timing, raised the timing retard limit to 213-255,i didnt get either pops or bangs from state rev limiter or ALS during runs anybody can help ?
did you alter the air injection timing also?
can you take a screen shot of your air injection settings along with your timing map...if it is the same style of map found here and geekmapped you are on the right track.
do you get a single pop or bang when accelerating hard and then letting off? Or do you just get nothing?

hope anyone can help me.

If you can hear one pop on lift off after high load, means your air injection is working...
but to get the rest....timing is needed. I also see you posted on another forum about it. Those guys have way more experience about this than myself. You map looks about right, so it might just be a little tweak.
wish I could be more help.

TO be honest with you I dont know anything about BOVs. All I know-->If it is vented to atmosphere it wont work. You need that air in the upper IC pipe to go to your SAS piping instead.
I just use the stock blow off valve. you could do a quick swap...if that dosnt work then it would be something else.
