SAS Hardware
those are not my maps, but mine is at -20...it tapers like in the sample maps (very very similar)
if you are able to copy the bottom map exactly (timing, air injection etc) and your air injection works, you will have something good.
Lets hope it works!

4wdrifter, how are you doing?
Any news? If solenoid is opening, then everything is alright... Have you checked banjo bolts holes diameter? How many milimeters diameter?
Please, give him some ALS maps, because I feel guilty, as I sold him all ALS hardware stuff
He needs activate it...

I am a 9.
my ALS tune is a one off....I am still using the USDM rom.
4wdrifter is trying to get his to work with a JDM/UKDM evo 7 ecu flash (ralliart).
He will be the first with a USDM 8 if he can get it to work.
if you are looking for parts then lancer register and yahoo auctions japan or Ebay UK are a good place to start.
if you cant find a SAS sensor then you will have to do something creative.

i checked all the standard 8 maps and not a single one has the ALS tables on it. i think i might have it working just need to retard the timing to check it for sure. i will keep you guys updated but am out of town til friday.
that is strange, they should be on there. oh well no worries.
yea you need negative timing. start with -10 -10 -8 or something like that (in the box).
once it gets hot it will work well.
as long as you dont let it go for an excessive amount you should be ok.
you will get only one weak pop with just the air...if that.

I looked at the wiring diagrams for a few Evo 8s that have SAS hardware, and the ECU wiring is completely different than a USDM Evo 8. Its so different that I doubt a USDM car would run if it had one of these ROMs. If you car runs with the RA ROM, the ECU wiring must be closer, but something must be different. If someone can get me a Lancer Evo Ralliart VII or Evo Ralliart VIII factory service manual, I can tell you if the wiring is different and whether pins can be switched around to make it work.
