This is why I went the wastegate solenoid route...
if you are using a MBC you can disconnect the wastegate solenoid.
and just move the wastegate pin to SAS pin.

I dont know why you are getting a check engine light for 02 heater circuit. You should be able to clear that code.

Oh I have an extra 8 pin.
Jack of all trades on here sells them for $7 for 5
dsm ezine is the website.

I was worried about that as well. But after looking at similar solenoids...the wastegate solenoid to be precise. Both wires head directly to the ECU. Talking to a couple buddies, the consensus was one wire should be needed as the ecu sends voltage to the sensor to open the valve.

one side needs to be grounded, the other needs to go to the ecu...Maybe I was just lucky...

Also, I have seen a bunch of videos...some with just negative timing and others with the air injection and mine sounds just like the air injection.

I have gone through about 5 different flashes with it--> some with timing and some with no timing and just air injection...it still pops without timing.
rev limit is at 3k so anything above with lift off equals bangs...

of course I add timing and it goes crazy.

if i turn off the CEL i just comes right back on within a couple minutes. i don't really want to add any timing to it i just want the air. i will have to check on the pins with that dude.

yea you should just do air first...

did you reconnect the brown solenoid on the underside of the intake manifold correctly...I forget what that one is.

He is slow...but you will get em.

you are only the second one to do this here...so there is a lot of customization...

did you install the piping yet?

yeah everything is installed and ready to go. i just need to figure out the ecu stuff. get the pins and figure out why i'm throwing the o2 heater CEL. did you have to flash to a different ROM? i know you have a ix. how did you get the ALS tables

this is going to bum you out...and I mentioned it briefly.
If it was as easy as flashing to a new ROM then I would have done such...but unfortunately it never is.

A whole subroutine was written for this to work.
Now there is the hard way and the money way.

Hard way-->everything is online. It is all there for someone to figure out...as that is what happened with mine. Biggest tip I can give you is Geekmapped.com along with Lancer Register and this site. (in that order) It is no copy and paste job...like with JDM and UKDM ecus. Ours requires more work...but it is there (at least for evo 9)

money way-->since my setup is oem yet ecu wise custom...my friend did the work as an experiment...He most likely would charge you to write the code. I at first was going to post the code, but after some discussions with my buddy along with one of the developers of ECU flash, it was decided to keep them semi private. I must respect my friend's wishes as he put quite some time into this.

Plus as you are finding out right now...there is no guarantee that it will work.

I was lucky in a couple ways
1-->I thought the cost was cheap enough to give it a try
2-->If it failed then I would know for sure...
3-->My friend ended up being brilliant with the flashing portion.

my advice is try on your own...and see what you can come up with.
If you get absolutely stuck on the ECU portion, then shoot me a PM.

Excellent,
yea...it took me about 2 months to get it running...

keep at it...hopefully your ROM will be able to handle it.

There is no any problems with O2 heater at all, it's all because it's evo 7 ROM you flashed in. To make work it, you need in your ECU periphery turn off O2 heater

come to think of it if you way works, this would be sweet.

do you have the SAS table definitions for your ROM 4wd?

you should be able to alter air injection time and all of the settings before even flashing. Could you flash to one of the roms the UK guys are using? grayw and cossie i think drive 8s

My rom doesn't but the UK ralliart one does. My car runs fine with it and I transferee my fuel and timing tables over to it. I just need to turn the o2 heater cell off. I will see if I can figure it out when I get off work here in about 20 mins. (I started at midnight)

you should be able to turn off the CEL with the perifery bits.

look in this thread :

ok just an update. i have a working tune with all the ALS tables in it, still no ALS. i went out and bought the forge recirc valve as somewhere i remember reading that it didn't work as well VTA. i need to get it all adjusted and take it for a spin. my pin is also in the #53 spot.
