oh and if anybody knows where i can get the bracket that holds the canister to the car let me know, thats the one piece i did not get in my set up.

I did not install my sas sensor underneath the intake manifold

The sensor isnt on in this pic, it is underneath the air box.

Everything else is in this thread.

you will have to pin your ecu.

thanks. I think I can figure out all the rest of the mounting stuff that under manifold pic actually helped out a lot.

4wdrifter, if your Evo was never equiped with SAS system, there can't be any solenoids left related with SAS... put all stuff you have in the box...
BTW I have never ever had bracket for SAS canister, you should attach it somewhere near strut brace with some plastic stripes... or under intake manifold...

dolphin888 its all good about the bracket...i did like maikumaru and put it all by the intake. way easier that way. now i'm just working on repinning the ECU.

Be carefull on that... I am not sure how to do it correctly, have you read in this thread, how other succeeded to wire SAS solenoid?

two options for pin
run a wire from the solenoid directly to the ecu and pin it (need a pin)

OR

disconnect wastegate solenoid (underneath airbox) and cut the green/turquoise wire.
move wastegate pin (41 on evo 9) to the SAS pin location

I used an injector clip. I grounded one side
connected other to turquoise wire

I grounded one and connected the other to wastegate torquoise wire.

you just need to make sure the ground one is touching metal which is touching the chassis.

I cant remember what side I grounded though (eek) maybe I was lucky the first time.

I always thought, that one wire should be connected to 12v (+), and another (-) to ECU
