hahaha...man.

It was a great project...really is amazing how simple the car is. Me and my buddy were just ecstatic last night. to be honest I couldnt believe the thing works. I did not think the USDM ecu would have the routine to even allow it...but holy crap. First flash...turn on and..........hooooooooooooly **** it works!! lol

right now it is on a stock type tune...and really is fun making the pops and the bangs...it is just the valve injecting more air into the manifold....a little more playing with it should equal something super fun.

right now my gauges are not hooked up (double din project next) so I cannot say if it is holding a bit more boost on throttle lift.

for me I was lucky with a lot of the stuff.

Free upper IC pipe from trust (friends with them)
the sensor and tank...man I havnt seen another set around...and having someone in Japan send it for me...really just lucky.

The real trick would be doing this with a non OEM sensor...or finding another way to actuate the valve. I think even a MBC would work.

So in other words it would be impossible to duplicate unless I connections in Japan

no actually...just a little patience...and searching like a mother in the UK. I found that the UK is much easier than Japan.

the valve and piping is easy to get a hold of.
same with upper IC pipe with SAS outlet

getting the valve to open is the hard part.
there are a couple ideas floating around.

Getting it to work without the oem parts, would be a terrific project. I am not sure, but perhaps a sensor that allows for the valve to open...found one for laramie in this thread...might work. But that is just a gamble. really it is a simple sensor...

MBC is an idea as well.

big tip
yahoo auctions in japan is your friend

how I have it setup now though...if you are using electronic or gm 3 port it would not work...since I have the wastegate sensor off right now. (MBC for me)

Catnet, usually has some great parts on yahoo auctions..

http://booth.search.auctions.yahoo.c...eller=catnet06

use this for searching

2次エアシステム
エボ 4g63
エキマニ 4G63
マニ 4g63
Catnet

look for intake manifolds...they have the sensors and tank...

just need someone to help get it over...

I know I know. I have a guy in greece that is looking to see if he can locate the canister. You are using a MBC to control boost correct?

that is correct....dont limit your search on that cannister to just evo's though...it only holds air...

the SAS sensor lets the air out according to what you tell it...so technically you could hook the sensor directly to the intake manifold.

Also on the wiring...I chose wastegate pin 41...thanks to some of the original posts on here...
This is because I am using mbc. (wastegate solenoid is not needed and off right now)

but seriously...you could run a 5v or whatever size the stock wire is directly to the ECU...I was suprised myself...

you just need a pin...if you can find the ECU map switches...then you can find the pins...:-)

If you need anything let me know.
