ummmmm the fuel cuts from 4k where because someone was using a bad acceleration table.. cant remember exactly..

Hi Tephra, the original ROM ID was 93660005. I was upgrading to 96530006. For the sheer hell (and in an attempt to understand the 'interchangabbility' of software) I experimented with 91470015....

I copied everything across. The first time, after disabling the immobiliser (0x56d0) and escaping the Valet mode, the car ran fine, I've never managed to get NLTS work.. but I then copied Ralliart maps into alternate and began playing with boost controll, all behaved well - but the CEL was permanently on.
To be honest, since then I've tinckered with so much I think I should start from scratch. Beginning to doubt myself.......
Should 96530006 work in every way on my car? Am I right in thinking there are known issues? Why does completely disabling the immobiliser need to be done?

ok 505 you can fix by adjusting your BISS... There is a thread on it by me - fix is on the last page or so...
EGR - does you car have EGR? if not maybe disable it using the FAA bits... not sure which one but search and ye shall find - otherwise post up a new thread
243 - hrmm how are you controlling boost atm?
not sure on the other 2... weird...
maybe wait for 90550001 as that will probably be a better match to your car...

it didn't work first go - but ive sent him a change and hopefully it will work now
once he confirms I will roll in the 5.10 changes (he is running 5.9) and then put it up

Yes, my car (which I was lead to believe is JDM GSR spec?!) has EGR and ICS. Factory boost control is a single solenoid.
I'm happy to disable (and remove) the EGR system - can't see how it's needed will search on the FAA bits.....
243 - Boost is being controlled by the factory solenoid. It's all standard at the moment - no mods to the "pills". I will ultimately be installing an AVC-R.
Am happy to wait and/or test 90550001......

Mmmm.... so you would expect this to work without CEL then? I take it disabling the immobiliser doesn't cause a CEL....
If you think it's worth a try, I will start from scratch....
