It sounds like you did everything correctly, but something a mistake must have been made somewhere. Did you upload the ROM to the ECU after you enabled the O2 simulator and changed MUT12?
Does anyone have this working on V5 96530006?
I finally got around to wiring in my LC-1 wideband to my ECU today, pin 75, analog out 2, brown wire. The ground wire is grounded.
When I log 0x8409, I get 0. My next step is to use my multimeter to verify whether the analog out is working or not, but I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything else wrong, like the rear O2 sim in the tephra rom or something like that.
I don't think 96530006 has a rear o2 from the factory, so should there be a certain periphery that we need to turn on, or that doesn't matter in terms of logging the input?
EDIT: Just checked with my multimeter and the analog output #2 is working fine. I just turned my ignition to acc and waited for the LC-1 to warm-up and it the XD-16 gauge read 15.9 and the multimeter read 2.83V. So, for the LC-1 default settings, that's just about right:
.05859x+7.4 (using a .05 offset that mrfred mentioned):
2.83V/5V=.566
.566*255=144.33
.05859*144.33+7.4=15.86
So, the output is working and is accurate. But, when I log it, it just sits at 0. I was logging via DMA, but I know that's set up correctly. So, I'm just curious if anyone else with v5 96530006 has this working.
Thanks,
Eric

I've been using this on both v5.10 and v7t6 with an LC-1 just fine without any odd periphery changes; both DMA and MUT logging are working as expected. I just confirmed to be sure, and I've attached the brown output of the LC-1 to the ECU, and logging address 0xffff8409.
A problem with the ECU harness or wiring, perhaps?

OK, thanks. As long as I know it should be working. I'll recheck the analog ground, etc, later. Maybe I pulled the ground off when I was rearranging my wires. I'll be sure it's not something I didn't configure right in DMA and just try EvoScan as a second test.

yea. i hooked up the lc1 to the ecu then enabled the 02 simulator. then found the address for the MUT table. still check engine lihgt though .ill double check everything here in a bit.

OK, it logs fine via MUT. So, it looks like maybe I just messed something up in my DMA setup, since I was testing only with DMA before. I could have sworn everything was setup fine, but obviously I must have missed something.
So, I'm all good. Thanks for the replies.

hey guys quick question. i downloaded tephra's v5.10 for my IX and my buddies VIII and i was wondering if that is all i need to do for the patch for running the WBo2's. so all i would have to do is transfer all the modified tables over to the tephra maps? then after installing the analog wire to the ecu and modifing evoscan i should be able to see AFR under rear o2 sensor? also what all does the v5.10 offer? thanks in advance!
