There is one more Periphery!
So I was going through the ROM again today trying to figure out how to disable the O2 heater check, when I came across the code where the periphery settings are written to RAM. Bez originally reported periphery values 0xFAA, 0xFBA, 0xFCA, 0xFDA, and 0xFEA. Turns out there is also another Periphery value at 0xF9A.
Since it comes before all the others, what do we call it? Periphery00? Should we rename everything so that this new one is Periphery0?

The JDM to USDM vary only by one bit...0001 to 0002 (US) could that one bit the one we are looking for?
00000000-00000010 versus 00000000-00000001 so thats one off and one on for the total change?

ok, I looked at where Periphery00 gets referenced. It doesn't control whether entire subroutine are used (like some of the bits in the other Periphery values), but instead controls specific actions within a handful of subroutines. The subroutines where it gets called are not familiar, so I can't say for sure how important it is, but my feeling is that it doesn't play a major role.
