I have an evo 8. 264/272 cams hks downpipe and cant pass emissions. is there any softwares that can change ready status so i can pass or any ideas on where to start. is says 02s and catlyst arent ready. had a shop check and both sensors are working perfect and cat is fine. im out of ideas.

Has your car been flashed?

If so did the tuner disable the rear o2?

I would check your rom and see if it has been disabled.

 

still might not pass emissions with a non-readiness status..

his best bet would be to try out V5...

 

We need a list of full mods. I can pass smog in CA on my mods.

What I meant with that info Tephra, was to have him re-enable the routine if someone had disabled it with a flash.


On the OBD II readiness test, the cat and rear o2 tests are usually among the last to complete. How much have you driven the car since you cleared any codes?
