+1, everyone goes thru this lol. If your shoe even REMOTELY is resting on the pedal, the clutch switch is activated and causes fuel cut (the whole point of the NLTS) just get used to FULLY removing your foot between shifts, it takes some getting used to.

yeah - if you are not happy with the engagement/disengagement postion of the clutch you can adjust it - a bit...

another option is to use some foam on the pedal where the swtcih touches.. this increases the throw of the switch...

"Fuel Economy" Alt Map?

I'd like to implement the TephraMOD alt-map switching, but I'd like my alt map to be tuned for maximal fuel economy. I'm a noob at this, but from the "Economy Tuning" thread, I understand that I'll need to modify both the fuel maps AND the "Open Loop Load" maps (to force the ECU into "Open Loop" mode so it runs off the maps, right?).

Does the TephraMOD alt-map switching allow me to switch the "Open Loop Load" maps as well as the fuel maps? If not, is it even possible to add these maps to those that can be switched?

Apologies if I'm asking a "stupid noob question". I'm just trying to find ways to bump up my commuting fuel economy on this lame Calif. 91 octane swill...

I installed this and went for a tune. I have all the 1's and 0's for the Tephra mod area seems like all is fine. I am getting some pretty good knock/ timing retard on tip in. Is there something that I missed ? I've used the Lean Spool before and now realize there is no Enable/Disable box to check. They are both set at 1500 like previous. I noticed there are other options in the lean spool area, were the values changed? Thanks

have you adjust the pedal?

set your nlts lower and see at what pedal position it switches on to be sure...

otherwise you can put a external switch to the clutch button wire to turn it on/off manually

What are your boost cut tables set to KOTT? Have you removed your throttle body or messed with your TPS at all? If the TPS was the problem the car would just over-rev if it was dis-engaging the NLTS right? The problem is its ENGAGING the NLTS, either that or something else is triggering fuel cut. The boost cut tables are the only thing that realistically would do that other than the NLTS.
