disable P0300 test
When the car is chucking the p0300 it's in closed loop, so the ECU is actively controlling the AFR's. The P0300 typically happened with large jumps in timing, and even after smoothing those values, you only reduce the tendancy.
In my case, I suspect that it's the 5th gear syncro assembly.

Just curious has anybody experienced any issues with their 2 stage knock CEL no longer coming on after this patch? I have Ver 1.29 and added the code and changed the hex value but now it seems my CEL no longer flashes when I hit know. Just curious.

Make sure you editing the correct ROM ID. At the beginning of the video I show how to identify what your ROM ID is. Once you have that edit and save the xml with the same ID.
If your still doing that and nothing comes up then I would have to look further into the situation.

yes, i did use the right XML file
i htink it might have some thing to do with VISTA ( i copy the file to my desktop, open with notepad, add defenitions, copy back to ecuflash..... the defenitions are in the XML but its not showing up in the ROM)
