I had to use a code clearer to get rid of mine after I flashed it. I found my fuel trims to be the same way.

Has anyone noticed side effects of disabling the P0300? Mine caused throttle hang. I had mrfred look at the logs and it appears that in some roms the P0300 is connected to something that can and does cause throttle hang. I'm on the 96940011 ROM. Anyone else see this?

I have the same rom and don't have throttle hang with p0300 disabled. I dropped the bomb on the ROM and disabled all of the cel though so that might be the difference. Usually throttle hang is due to an improper idle rpm setting

I guess Evo 8s might require clearing the codes. With my 9, the codes would always clear when I flashed a new tune. EvoScan can clear codes.

I've also noticed that some cars don't clear codes or even fuel trims on a flash.

Hey Mellon, I talked to mrfred about it and sent him some logs also. When I load up the P0300 disable and all I've done is changed the bit from 1 to 0 for bit 4 the hang starts. I load back up my old ROM and it's back to normal. mrfred thought it might require more digging so wanted em to post up here to see if anyone else had any insight into it. I could try some more disabling and see if that matters also. What all CEL's did you disable in yours? Thanks!

Still very new to evo flash and evoscan. So I'm trying to find where evoscan clears codes. Anyone?

I think its at the bottom right hand corner it will have a display "dtc" or something. You can use that same box to check your cars codes as well as clear them.

After this do the force OBD2 pass and its no worries. This by itself will pass though.
