Just to add to this, I switched to a known knocking map and I was still not getting the CEL flash in either stage (fast flash or slow flash). I am going to remove the code for this patch.

Maybe it is because I am running 1.29??? Is anyone else at all having the same issue? What ver of ECUFLASH is everyone using. Anyone I go to download I keep reading bugs and people are contradicting each other about which version to get.

That one is easy: Periphery4 (FEA) bit14 will disable the P0069.

 

can i do the change with ecuflash version 1.41.2483 insted of older version?
Its for my Stock IX, i haven't downloaded the rom into Ecuflash yet, but i think its
88590015 Rom. I had my car check at the dealership changed plugs and nothing.
they checked my car and said everything was running like it was supposed too. And really didn't have a fix for my p0300 other than troubleshooting it, which i had to pay for all
the labor. i get my p0300 at idle.

i feel what your saying. i want a fix too. but my car has never been tuned and is completly stock i got the cell for the same reason p0300. could it be my 2nd 02sen? couse it sure is't my plugs i get mine at idle. but like i tould you my car is stock.

I keep getting a P0300 fault code, it happens at 65-70 mph in 5th gear when cruising.

I am using a evo7 ecu with the 9055001 rom.

Bits 4/5 are set to 0, I have tried the 0XEFCF code in the ECU_PERERHERY 2 and still get the P0300 code.

The code I have in the std rom under ECU_PERERHERY 2 is 0X8889.

Can anyone help me as I am at my wits end as it happens every 10 mins.

I finally got around to doing this a few days ago after being plagued with it since I bought my Evo. I'm 140 miles in and it hasn't come back. As a reward I'd like to offer up my wife to mrfred for an evening. She might resist at first, but I'm sure she'll understand after I tell her why.
