Quote: Changing the hex or changing the bit values does exactly the same thing, so only the hex or the bits need to be changed.

Quote: When the car is chucking the p0300 it's in closed loop, so the ECU is actively controlling the AFR's. The P0300 typically happened with large jumps in timing, and even after smoothing those values, you only reduce the tendancy.

In my case, I suspect that it's the 5th gear syncro assembly. issued a TSB stating that under light loads it throws harmonics in the 6khz range, the same range as the knock sensor detects knock....
Roger that. I had the same issues. I am essentially bone stock and have thrown a P0300. Use to happen under light loads (typical cruising speeds). No chucking or anything when the code is thrown.

Hopefully this fix helps me out.

Just curious has anybody experienced any issues with their 2 stage knock CEL no longer coming on after this patch? I have Ver 1.29 and added the code and changed the hex value but now it seems my CEL no longer flashes when I hit know. Just curious.

Which EcuFlash version do you have? At first I did not see the new table but upon closer inspection I found them.

Interesting, might I suggest using 1.40. Uninstall 1.41 first.

Wow. Interesting.

Make sure you editing the correct ROM ID. At the beginning of the video I show how to identify what your ROM ID is. Once you have that edit and save the xml with the same ID.

If your still doing that and nothing comes up then I would have to look further into the situation.
