Think I found a problem of sorts....my XML definition files may be mucked up from old installs and fooling with different mods, I don't have an Alternate Wastegate Duty table, only a Base one. Let me double check all my definitions.

If that is the problem im going to kick myself haha!

didn't you just copy the tephramod-88590615.xml into the ecuflash directory?

you shouldn't have need to change it (except for direct boost rescalings)

Correct, I believe it was from the downloaded pre-modded 88590615 (with directboost and JDM MAP) files from the stock ecu wiki.

Fresh xml files under misubishi/evo along with the new v6 xml looks like the left, what I had is the right.

Going to go through and re-mod it with directboost and JDM MAP and copy over my data and try it again!

ok - i checked the code and the normal wgdc + altmap wgdc are NOT swapped around, so you should still be good to go

Direct boost is definitely working for me (and on the correct labels)

Did you do the actual mods to the rom or just the XML? I'd double check those.

Ok, last night I re-installed EcuFlash, along with fresh definitions for the v6 mod....along with adding the correct JDM Map definitions and Direct Boost defs.

Changed all of the proper settings for both mods, double checked them after.

Changed my 3d baseline boost table to psia8 scaling and put in my values. 14.7 Boost Adder Value. My WGDC=100% under this load is set to 100.

This morning flashed the car, popped the hood checked my boost lines on my 3port to eliminate that as the problem....

Went to boost and same damn problem

Here is a very short 3rd gear log.

I'm really not trying to be a jerk, the same thing happened to me with similar symptoms, but go over the direct boost control thread with a fine toothed comb. Mine was acting similar the first time I had done it and I had missed one of the pointers/hooks. Make sure you read both parts where the information is at, I think some of it is split up.

Ok, so I don't have a log, but I overboosted today on the way home from work 25psi....so im guessing it IS working....its just one of my settings must be off. Not sure which, maybe the 100% WGDC setting needs to be lowered or something. Will adjust and hopefully try and get back out on the road tonight to test.

V6 works and should be bug free.

V7 will probably be out in a couple of weeks (sooner if I drop the launch-map mode)

Sorry man I have been really busy, I am an IT Consultant and we are in the middle of the huge install this week and weekend. I won't be able to test anything most likely till Sunday or Monday. I will report back with logs and results...
