Hey guys, sorry but I have been OVERWHELMED with 'life' stuff that's been keeping me completely tied up. I haven't even been able to open the hood on my mitsu in months now

Any updates from the guys working on the stand-alone versions they were building??? I know the raw beta version bbarnhill sent me was pretty awesome at the point he was at already.

I was wondering if anyone had time and was willing to walk me through the set up via AIM. Thanks in advance.

whats to setup?

download the spreadsheet

copy the time and RPM columns from your log into the first sheet
adjust the tyre size on the middle sheet
adjust the gear/weight on the dyno sheet

done...

dont expect it to give you accurate numbers in terms of comparison to real dyno... (although thats what the dyno correction is meant for)

just use it as a before/after measuring device for your own tunes..

ENSURE you use the same road, with same action (ie ALWAYS start from the same RPM, whether it be 2000rpm or 2500rpm)

I'm confused about where to find the time/rpm set up in EvoScan. I guess I should have just asked that question to begin with. I'm getting a final dyno tune next weekend. This is just to satisfy my curiosity tonight.

EvoScan logs to .CSV files - find them in your evoscan directory (datalogs or something from memory)

LogEntrySeconds is your time columns
RPM should be fairly obvious..

Thanks man. I wasn't realizing I had to open the file through my documents. I was trying to playback the file to get the information. I finally realized I had to open it up with excel to view it. Now it all makes so much more sense to me. I can be dense at times. LOL. Thanks again for the super fast replies.

Yeah I was able to figure that part out. I just got my build up and running a few weeks ago. I have about 800 miles on a 2.4 build with a Precision 5857. I want to find a smoother road and do another pull tomorrow. I'm quite happy with the results so far though. Thanks again for the help, you totally made my day/night.

flat and straight as possible

Have you guys ever had a problem with EvoScan's sample right being too high and this not working right. I only had 4 things checked for this log and the sample rate is really high. The amount of cells that have to be copy/pasted is making the simulator act really crazy. Any input?

That's odd. I always try and get the highest sample rate for the best resolution. If yours is too high, select some useless data maybe and slow it down, but can you confirm it is actually the high data rate and not another issue causing the issue?

I have been giving the standalone version away to beta testers with no feedback. Its kind of discouraging to give it away to get feedback and noone responding. I know it needs work but dang I wanted to know if it halfway worked first before I cleaned it up. I guess I could go ahead and display AFR in the bottom graph but I need an evoscan log with afr in it first. My LC1 stopped logging for some dumb reason but it still displays on the gauge.

I was kind of asking the question if that was possible. I'll do what you suggested today when I log.
