I am running an Evo x rom on my 09 lancer es (evo x turbo installed). The rom ID is 0015. I have several DTC codes due to the lack of sensors that the evo has that I dont. Is there a way to disable specific DTC's other than the ones fixed in the patches given in this thread already? FYI I'm still new to this stuff and learning a ton day by day. Thanks for any help guys.

Has the "Enable catalytic monitoring (P0420)" ever been found for the 2011's? Specifically 56890009/10?

I know I *should* be able to get around this if I log W/B via factory O2 but I have yet to go that route and at this point a disable would be fantastic.

Yes. If you have a completely stock map, simply do the "DTC P0139" disable. It's that simple.

Sorry it's not named correctly. That is the exact same address that gets rid of the 2008's P0139. One the 2010's and 2011's, it simply shuts up the P0420 error.

There probably is a way, but it might take one of the guru's some time to sort through them. I'm assuming the first step would be to list out all the codes and see what can be done. Easiest thing would be to hook up the missing sensors if it really needs them for input on engine operation. Just turning them off might not be the best solution.

Yea, I noticed that after I posted when looking at the XML for the RA code on the first page labeled P0420 and then seeing the P0139 was that same.

Thanks!

so after flashing a 2008 rom (53050009) on a 2010 EDM car
I've done the bit flip for the rear O2 sensor
but it's coming up with P0139. haven't come across this yet!

does anyone have the P0139 address for 53050009 (2008 EDM SST)
obviously the simple 2008 bit flip isn't enough...

Thanks!

Thanks Golden. i had used 503ae from the 53050006 rom ... which showed 0001 , and when i typed 0x0 it showed 0000

using 503af it shows 0101 (stock 53050009 rom)
the instructions say 0x1 -> 0x0
now I'm confused ... I thought i had it! Is that what it should show?

D - as far as I'm aware the rear O2 is still wired in. but I've never come across this code before, so maybe it was unplugged and no one told me? it's definitely in the exhaust though.

Yeah, use hex 8 with the address I gave you and let me know if it works.
