- Download the XML pack from the first page and copy them into the "rommetadata --> mitsubishi --> evo" folder of ECUflash.
- Then download the 96530706 rom from the second post on the first page.

Copy all the relevant maps in and away you go.

Email me your original rom and i'll throw it all into 9653 if you like, or contact someone like 'tscompusa' and for a little bit more he'll tune your car for you too.

And then what do I need to open in Ecu Flash to start changing my immobilizer and stuff?

Any links to tutorials or previously stated material would be great!
I'm even willing to donate to someone willing to school me on this personally.

Thanks guys.
Alot of work goes into a ROM swap so if you don't understand the basics (editing, adding features, etc) then you need alot of schooling. Not trying to be rude but good tuners who have been doing it for years can take hours to get the pertinent information copied and working. Just moving to a ROM without editing values won't work (move values than immobilizer). A car that idled perfectly on 0011 may not idle at all on 0006, there could be alot of work to put into it which is why we have tuners. Just some food for thought. Good luck

^^ well said, a lot of people get caught up on the v7 and sd craze then become overwhelmed at the steep learning curve.

I get where you guys are coming from. All i wanted originally was a way to get my CEL to turn off. It's tripped by my rear 02 sensor. I saw V7 had the rear 02 fix in it and also the BIG maps and NLTS in one big package. I figured why not try to convert over to V7, but its a bit harder than I anticipated. Im just not comprehending everything right. I'll keep at it.

Tephra !

I have a rom with 98640014 ID . Before I know that up load the phenem V7 96530706 rom. Seems like it is working fine just need to copy in the Evo 7 maf and injector scaling values. The car is with SAS system from the factory. If change to the 90550001 V7, with the right ALS table code will the SAS work again and can retard the timinig to -20 degree ? Thank you !

max ign retard on all 90550001 roms is -10 deg regardless of what you put in the map

V7 90550001 can the psi based boost control too ?

I read that no way to retard the timing more than -10 on 7 and 8 ecu
Maybe need to develop a piggyback als control unit what can retard timing, spark cut, add fuel and air or control the sas valve.

It would be nice to hijack one of those as a configurable output to trigger a secondary fuel pump...

That is what i am looking to do my self but the use of taking control of them could be used for N20, Water injection, extra injector driver, Shift light basically anything that can used a activation switch. Im guessing we can take control of the EGR solenoid, FPR solenoid and purge solenoid. some how control the activation by RPM,Load, and maybe something else.
