you shouldn't have to disable the immobilizer code unless your current flash you're on now has it disabled already.. which pretty much means the code was lost sometime or another and they disabled it so they could start the car.

im sure you know, but the immobilizer code is a big deal. someone can copy your car key and steal your car with it disabled, where as with it enabled they cant.

so the question is, is it disabled on your old rom at that bit? if not then try to copy over your existing code from the old rom to the v7.. dont forget to use 0x before the code.

also dont forget to set the year for the car in immobilizer hex.

no problem.

Donation Made Sent Email/PM to Tephra. Have a JDM Evo 8 MR but was unable to check if it was 96260007 or 96260009 base so wondering if it was ok to request corresponding Tephra ROM for Both

I have a JDM 8 MR and use 96530706. It works fine.

I gave 96270709 a go briefly because it was closer to my factory ROM but it didn't improve anything, and the XML wasn't as complete.

i have a question about the conversion from 94170008... more so exactly how do i got about doing this... all the posts i'm reading say to convert to 94170015... i did that and when i tried to open the modified BIN file i get an unreadable error code in ECU flash.

Sorry I'm kind of a noob... I've watched the tutorials and was able to upgrade to V4 with no issues but that was on 94170008...do i just download the "stock" 94170715 file on page one... copy the .xml information and paste it over the entire directory file for rom i.d. 94170015.. I assume from there i would just copy my table information from my 94170008 ROM file to the new modified ROM.... which brings me to my next question..... The imobilizer code? Which do i use? The one from my 9417008?

Im having an issue with 1 byte load , Is that what everyone is using With V7,
I always patched in the 2 byte mod and never had issues , im considering just doing that.

My load logs fine, then when i approach max load the load drops straight down into the 10-30 range basicly doesnt log above 300ish.
Anyone else had this issue with 1 byte is there a setting to change in evoscan or something?

Ive never used 1 byte and im searching for the answer on here but havent found it yet.

I just remembered the settings in evoscan that allow for gauge\chart max settings and upped them , i dunno if thats all i needed to do ?

Thanks in advance for the help.

you just need to change the scaling value from 1.2 to 1.3 or higher then make sure you also change the scale in evo scan
