It looks like all the hyper links in the first post are dead. I have a Tephra mod tune and I'm unable to open it. I'm guessing I need to load the latest Tephra downloads but I'm not sure.
My rom # is 54740002, I would like to add a stationary rev limit but its not working, not sure if my ecu need to be patch first? hope anyone can help me or configure my rom thanks
I'm running a 3g eclipse ECU in my 98 Eclipse Spyder gst using 96530706- TephraMod-phenem v7, yes I did put the xml in the Evo rom metadata in ECU flash. But I cannot find the tables for the fan control at different temps anywhere in this rom at all. I have previously used ECU flash with ceddymods, so I'm familiar with most of the concepts & layout. I haven't started the vehicle yet on this ECU, trying to get things similar to how I had it with dsm ECU & ceddy's rom before proceeding. I know that there's a issue with the fact it's pwm for fan control but I also read you can get it to work full speed at certain temps & was wanting to try it. If someone could please inform me of why it's not in the room or what I'm not doin correctly is b very appropriative

If you search the forum for 9653 fan control you’ll find the addresses to add it. Unfortunately with the 3g ecu you can’t just set the fan PWM to 100% like the Evo ecu to get the fans working the same way. Found this out the hard way. I started using the 3g ecus in my 1gs/swapped cars with fan controllers in the thermostat housings. I run evo 8 ecus in my 2gs instead since they can have the fans set to 100% PWM and work
Can you please look into mine (evo9)? Ever since I went SD my idle and decel (with or without AC) has been getting worse (new MAP, sensors, coils) My latest tuner gave up on the Tephrav7 and used an older single map definition file. Power is great I guess but idle is all over and dies eventually while idling(cool down). One good thing about this file is it has the older definitions with a bunch more idle related but i'm not sure where to start. Do you have some links/info I can look into? I do want to get back to Tephrav7 but I was giving this enough chance for the politics of changing tuners/builder around here. I worked with 5 already. TIA

Thanks. Give me some time. I will send 2 files, before and after version of the tuner's attempt to make AC off-throttle a bit better and slightly better chance of not dying. but now it could idle at 2-3k
I just updated the second post with the correct XML and correct ROM with the appropriate mods and speed density patches. Please delete and re-download and replace what you have (at least the XML so we are all running the same)
