The scaling or the values that they are set to? Would thus cause rich idle? The issue only seen when I apply the 88591715 though it inherits 88590715.

Values they are set to..This is what I have for tps axis:
0
70.5882
10139.2
25660.8
0
70.5882
10139.2
25660.8
0

Also this car is not reacting well to this rom but I am going to clean out my xml's and try a fresh one.
Flash car> car will not start(cranks)>flash back tune before applying 0-100 tps scaling>then flash tune that prevents car from starting>car fires right up>wait 10 min and start again=car will not start lol....I also believe I had the map sensor scaling set for jdm 3 bar for the target boost table but I doubt it would prevent the car from starting.. Probably something in the xml or wgdc TPS but I will post up what I find to be the problem.

Most appriciated. These setting for Max total upward wgdc correction vs tps are the same for the rom that works(88590715). The issues is seen when I update it to 88591715.

I just updated the second post with the correct XML and correct ROM with the appropriate mods and speed density patches. Please delete and re-download and replace what you have (at least the XML so we are all running the same)

Thanks Phenem.....I was out of the loop with this. If I had known you were working on re-writing the XMLs for 9417....I would have surely helped you out.

I am deployed right now and my down time is pretty boring. If you need help with any XML stuff...please let me know. I will gladly assist where I can.

Paul

I don't see any Valet Rev Limit Flash Time table box, I can set the rpm limit but not the time I need to hold the pedal in or how long CEL flashes for... any ideas (I used the file for evo IX) on first page?

You're looking for "TPS Toggle Time to Activate" and "TPS Toggle CEL Flash Time". They aren't valet-mode specific, they're also used for TPS-based map switching.

Hi all,
First of all, many thanks for this awesome Rom.
I'm running 96530706 on my VI RS2 with VIII ecu very successfully.

I didn't read all the thread, but I look at the latest xml file and I noticed some small errors (I guess).
The values to enable load based boost control mentionned in the xml file are not correct. You should use the value indicated in MrFred thread related to enhanced boost control.

I quote mrfred :
"Variable for boost control: Stock will read 898A. Change it to 8984. The table is in hex format, so you will have to enter it as 0x8984

The "Load Error RAM Address" and "Load Error RAM Address in Load Error Table" will both read: 8866. Change both to 802A (again, you'll need to enter it as 0x....)

WGDC Correction update delay: Use table #1. Table #2 is for when the vehicle speed exceeds the boost limiting speed. Set the value anywhere from 1 to 10. Each unit is approx 0.08 to 0.1 sec.

Change MUT8A will read 8913. Change it to 802B (again enter it as 0x....)

Change MUT8B will read 8D9F. Change it to 8D21 (again enter it as 0x....)"

You'll find attached the xml with the modification.
Plz tell me know if I'm wrong, but this works for me !

I know this is a "small" contribution, but I think it will prevent some people from questionning and loosing time.
