TephraMod V7
I have a problem with the V7 evo 8 rom not being able to get lower than -10* of timing despite changing the values of the variables as describe in another thread by Tephra.
Any thoughts Tephra?

Perhaps a noob question sorry, but I assume the alternate maps also gives you alternate boost maps?
Reason I ask is I'm looking at ditching my AVCR and using ECU based boost control with a 3-port solenoid etc. One of the cool features I love about my AVCR is having 2 switchable boost settings - low and high
Could you use alternate maps to simply give you low/high boost settings, but leave the fuel/timing tables the same? Or is there another way to have 2 boost settings via the stock ECU?

Cheers Tom. Thought I'd post here in case others had the same query.
So is the alt wastegate duty separate from alt maps? Am just thinking if I go E85 later on, I won't be able to switch maps just to get a different boost setting, so it would be great if you can switch between boost settings independently of the fuel/timing maps. Is that possible in v7?

OK thanks for confirming. So I can't really use it to simply switch between a high/low boost setting if I'm using alt maps for 2 different fuel types.
It should do the trick for now though, but if I ever get an E85 alt map, then I won't be able to switch maps just to get different WGDC settings, as the timing/fuel etc will be different too.
Perhaps switchable WGDC maps that are independent of fuel/timing maps will be in v8
Tephra's probably considered it already, but maybe it's not possible.

If you want have 2 different boost settings, you can copy your entire Main fuel and Ignition maps to the Alt fuel and ignition maps, and then change the Atl boost setting...
two differents boost settings, same fuel and ignition.

i searched like crazy all night and didnt find any relevant answers so instead of posting a new thread i will ask here since im running the tephra v7 rom on my IX.
Anyone remove all their manifold sensors without issues? I completely removed all of mine since i have an aftermarket throttle body and manifold and there are 2 sensors behind the manifold which are emissions and the 1 connected to the vacuum line for the fuel pressure regulator, seems once i finally removed that one my WOT is a bit leaner, I can either put it back or tune it out.
Just want to find out what magnus manifold users are doing or what are the long term effects of not having the fuel pressure sensor one if any?
ps - I have no other noticeble issues, no cels of any kind and everything is good so far.. im on speed density also.
