Hi! I am trying to tune an Evo 8 JDM with rom id 97470001. I cannot open the stock .srf file to view or edit. What am I doing wrong? i see that the 97470001 xml are in the metadata folder, but it seems like it cant open because of to many errors.

I tried downloading the 96530706, but I think I do something wrong or have the wrong definition file? Maybe I should use the 96260009?
Are Rom the bin.file and XML-package is the definition/metadata? This is new for me
I have the 96530706 XML package copied to: C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo
I can open the Tephra 96530706 bin, but not the stock srf file...

If everything is installed correctly and I have the correct defintion files, I can open the stock file to get the immobilizer and injector data and then open the Tephra .bin and transfer the immobilizer and injector data to get started?

Whats it mean when sum rom ootions are greyed out?

 

rom is the bin and xml is def thats what i worked out im in the same boat bro just started trying too tune my car last week jdm 7 there is alot u need too know go too evoscan read the help page there for tuning if u have not done already

 

The 97470001 XML I have are only 1kB, while other definitions are 11 kB and bigger... Is the 97470001 ROM a very little known/rare?

issues with the XML / bad inherits would be my guess. What errors were you getting before you swapped around the default XML?
