Cool, thanks donner. Does this include ROMs patch with the ELM app? For speed, I downloaded my existing ROM, patched in the app and flashed back.

I have my loom adaptor in front of me now and will be soldering in a tail to pin 75. (My soldering is much better than my coding!)

Todd, BarryC and kins have both logged AFR via the ECU on 9055, so it does work with the right code.

Patching is great, makes it faster. Not sure if patching does this but it is small thing to add (just add 8409 to your ram mut table if it's not there, it should exist in your 9055 live xml already).

Funny if 9055 never had rear O2, just had quick look and there is rear O2 simulator added anyway to tephra code. It would be nice to know if it needs to be enabled or not with this rom.

glad thats sorted... generally i think i used 3c for the WB02 in patching, i will need to verify (i used to use MUT39 as thats where my WB was connected) easy enough to change if u use something different.

but a question... is anyone (looking at this thread) have issues where the fuel map tracer traces properly but the ign map tracer does not??? or esp misses cells..

also what do ppl think of a feature where "on the first start of the logger" the program downloads all RAM maps and colours the cells appropriately.

I'd also like an extra tab if possible as I use live map on my in car pc but have trouble pressing the tabs etc as my fingers are too fat hehe,

is it possible to make the tab lip as big as a button? also can you make an other tabs that shows the logged items as larger (similar to the list on the right ) but to fill a tab? I can draw a picture if that helps

Andy

fixed the bug for the ign map tracer

andy, what resolution is ur screen? i will see if i can make bigger tabs.

regarding the the logged item display. is there a reason u are not happy with it on the right side, is it due to screen size u have? to move that display panel to a tab... is slightly complicated... just thought of an idea.... but depending on time i will look into it

For a CarPC, the screens are usually 7" or 8" and the resolution around 800*600.

I remember way back when John made the first livemap app, I redid the GUI to have a CarPC happy layout with big tabs and buttons.

That would be a good addition to your app.

eric that is a legacy i still have kept... by defualt the program still loads up with 1025 and 600 resolution (which was pretty much the resolution of my eeepc)

i think the buttons are big enough... but def agree the tabs arent. eric do u remember what u did to get the tabs to show bigger... i had a look i found some code that makes them look very pretty... which i might implement... but nothing to make them bigger.. making the font bigger makes everything bigger and stuffs up the whole layout. (mind u i didnt have too much time yesterday)

OP2 has hit a road block... i got the C# code, which i converted to VB (to be able to insert in my program) which was working... then changed a few things, and broke it, changed them back... but its still broken.. and seeing i dont have a bench ecu also with a new turbo to swap and now to tune.. i havent done much on that front yet.

hi Ziad
yeah I think the buttons are the right size, but the tabs could do with being roughly the same size. How do I register my copy?

the other tab I was on about i've made a picture see below

andy thanks, i will send u an email.

are u happy if i put them as an extra tab under utilities..i will try the new tab control, i can hide tabs in it apprently... which is a feature lacking in the microsoft standard ones

ahh yes will need to increase the font of the text boxes too

EDIT: here is something, let me know what u think. notice that the tab pages are bigger is size now. its till 1025x600 resolution... and no i havent moved the text boxes to a new tab page... will be easy enough to do.

I also think this idea sounds great.

While it won't help a car pc, I think hot keys assigned to each of the tabs, and starting and stopping the logger would be great. Gets a bit hard to find and move the mouse while I'm driving. I like to start and stop data logs while I'm at specific rpm and loads, to make analysis of csv files a little easier later, otherwise I'd stop the car to perform any operations.
