just to be clear...

If im logging the omni in evoscan and i am seeing -7 at vac, this would translate to roughly 51 kpa... and then when i see about 30 psi of boost, this should relate to 306 kpa ?

FYI, i log both zeitronix 5 bar boost sensor (which is the kavlico apparently) as well as the omni 4 bar.

I find that the omni does not show as much vac as the 5 bar, but when i do get in to boost they are dead on top of each other.

thanks for responding...

I appreciate your help.

Now if i can get applaud or you or anyone with a better sense of editing these xmls... id like to be on the 88501715 instead of the modded 0715 that i am. Im still not all the way sure that i have all of the SD patches or configurations set correctly.

Question...

When im on my SD rom, my idle is absolutely perfect.... if i unplug the MAF, i get a CEL as well as my idle will dip a little bit and the car idles, but its a little rough compared to on the MAF. Is there a setting i am missing somewhere ?

Yep...sounds like you either aren't using an SD patched ROM or something in the SD path (if you patched yourself) is missing.

i copied over everything from the jcsbanks thread into my 88590715 xml including the scaling settings for the omni. I havent seen anything else that i was suppose to copy into the xml. I thought about going into the 9653 sd rom and taking the asynch tables from there, but not sure if the addressing is the same and i didnt want to make things worse.

any ideas on why they would be missing or is/was there a separate thread originally with the asynch tables ?

I'm not sure what you copied...maybe give us a link...but the aynch tables and such are just additional tuning tables.

You need the whole list of SD programming tables...the one's that are actually used to patch the ROM for SD (19 tables looking at my ROM here). Then you need to look at an already patched ROM and copy everything from those tables to the same tables in your ROM. The prepatched ROMs for download have these tables already set for you.

It sounds like maybe you tried patching yourself, but are missing these tables and you just copied the XML for the tuning tables?

im showing 18 tables...

if you'd like i can email you my xml and current rom that is setup...

I just cant imagine what i missed. I copied everything from https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...y-patches.html from the 88590015 xml that is downloaded, into my v7 xml.

i did notice that the maf cel table was set incorrectly on the rom. I just changed that and havent flashed to the car yet. I have to wait until this afternoon to continue testing.

If you want wait another day, I'll be posting up a prepatched v7 SD ROM and XML to go with it.

Did you start with a pre-patched ROM or did you use your ROM and then copy the patch over?

Just copying the XMLs do nothing but display the tables. If you are using your own ROM to start with, you still have to copy the settings from the patched ROM over to your ROM.

Thanks to l2r99gst, im off the MAF now... thanks man. I went back to check my settings and i missed a couple of the tables that needed to have values changed. Flashed, let warm up, unplugged the MAF and no change in idle. Now i just have to do some fine tuning. My fuel map i think was off anyway.

Also, l2r99gst, as you suggested before about the omni kPa calculations.... I just went in to evoscan, created a new value to log, named it Omni kPa, put in this (1.632679*x) for the value and gave it the same request as the Omni Psi reference and now im logging both psi and kpa from the omni.

Again, i appreciate your help man.
