**Need Help setting up V7???** Here is your answer
Night walker, You are using the stock replacement maps for fuel and timing correct?
Also a suggestion, the way the EGR enable/'disable table and others like it are worded is a little confusing. I had to come check to make sure entering "0" actually disabled the EGR. IMHO it would be better to have the option say "EGR Enable" It seems like that would be clearer as to which value to enter. I know I'm nitpicking, but I don't have any real problems to mention running 94170715). Awesome job, tephra.

I checked my open loop load maps and they were all the same. It turns out I accidently set the injector scaling off in the V7 map. Double checked everything and the car runs fine now.
A bit of advice, don't try this late at night after a full day of work.
All the maps and options will mess you up.

One question to all the V7 experts:
How do I log the Altmaps ?
I'm using the TPS method and I've tried logging the 0x8425, but there is no change at all
Has any of you already figured out the right method for that ?
My goal is to be able to know everytime which maps I'm running.
Thanks

Gear based boost control not working
Thanks to many members here, Tephra MOD7 94170715 works wonderfully on my 03 EVO VIII! I do appreciate many contributers' efforts!
The only problem I have is gear based boost control is not working right.
I added these items to Evoscan, and they return only single value:
<DataListItem DataLog="N" Color="" Display="Boost Error" LogReference="BoostError" RequestID="8A" Eval="0.029551*x-3.78251" Unit="psi" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="-5" GaugeMax="5" ChartMin="-5" ChartMax="5" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="" Priority="1" Visible="False" />
<DataListItem DataLog="N" Color="" Display="WGDC Correction" LogReference="WGDCCorr" RequestID="8B" Eval="0.5*x-64" Unit="WGDC%" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="-50" GaugeMax="50" ChartMin="-50" ChartMax="50" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="" Priority="1" Visible="False" />
<DataListItem DataLog="N" Color="" Display="Gear_Tephra" LogReference="GearTephra" RequestID="40" Eval="x" Unit="unit" MetricEval="" MetricUnit="" ResponseBytes="1" GaugeMin="0" GaugeMax="255" ChartMin="0" ChartMax="255" ScalingFactor="1" Notes="Tephra Mod's Gear" Priority="5" Visible="False" />
Boost Error is fixed at -3.78251 (Omi 4 bar sensor min value), and WGDC correction is fixed at "0", and Gear_Tephra is fixed at "1".
I have been using mrfred's direct ECU based boost control without problem when I was using 94170008.
But it seems current ECU is indeed using 1st gear WGDC for all gears, but it does make some corrections according to the boost.

Dont know how much that helps, but just an idea... also, did you make sure u have the correct value in your MUT table @ 4,0?

Thank you for your kind reply, nonschlont.
It seems I am not the only one who has the problem.
Because I have 5-speed EVO VIII, I guess I have to change the gear look up value, but I will try your solution.
Also, I thought my boost adjustment works, but it seems it is also not working correctly.
Or correction interval is not working. (Both low and high gear are set to 2 now.)

need help with tephra v7
I have a 2003 with rom id 96940011. When I read from ecu a bunch of crazy values come up. So, I copied 94170008 to 96940011 and correct values came up. When I went to switch to tephra v7 rom 96530706 the crazy values came back. Was wondering if I could get some help? It would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance!
