Dang 4th of July weekend ... gonna slow my development down. Guys Ill make those changes, just the way Mellon and I discussed yesterday is going to take a little while. I just want it done right. So bear with me and Ill get the car profiles in there.

As I told Mellon yesterday, the way I prioritize what is next on my list of things to do:
1. Functional updates and bug fixes
2. Requested Major features
3. Minor features
4. Other ideas I have

So as soon as I get most of these bugs worked out and it looks like I have, other than whatever is going on with the TPS on that one run, and blank cells in some peoples runs (dont know how THAT is happening). Im going to start working on those profiles and car defaults. I also am supposed to look at EMS logs sometime to see if I can read those and incorporate those in here.

Good things are coming, I just need to figure out how to cram 26 hours in a 24 hour day first. Thanks for posting suggestions and comments, it lets me know you guys are looking forward to it and I know there is a demand for what I am doing.

Now if I see one more run with over 500hp ... Now when I drive my car I feel slow.

Ill create a bigger button so you can see it old man Its in the bottom left corner, the little blue bar that says Donate. I was trying to not make it too big but donations do keep this thing moving forward ... by paying the bills.

Whether you know it or not its making you come off as cocky with a response like that.

Anyone whos ever owned a dsm knows how the TPS works, because on 80% of them it ****s up along with the IAC And I know you have used vfaq.com probably tons of times, so of course you know how the TPS works.

Just from your responses I can tell you're a younger guy, and thats cool, but I wouldn't take offense when someone else is just trying to help or explain something you already know. I used to do this same thing and it ends up making you look kind of cocky and bitter. and edit: you're my age.. still young tho

I do understand why you got a little heated by his comment tho. I just wanted to say something to help you thats all. Keep everything pro on your name, it will help your business greatly on here. I dont know who made your avatar pic, but its pretty badass.

-------

with that all said, I like the new revision Brad it looks & functions good. I wish now you can make it so we can sticky our car settings so we dont have to change it for every log we drag into the application.
I was mentioning the TPS thing only to help this program. I know the TPS needs to be adjusted and how to do so. I never asked why it wasnt at 100% or how to adjust it. I already know. But then 3 people responded with info I didnt ask for or want. I didnt take offense or anything. I was just trying to help Brad out with his program, and I didnt need any explanation about the TPS.

I dont know how old or young you are but I am in my late 20's.

My logo was made by a friend of mine. Thanks for the complement.

I agree with you. I think it needs something to compensate as well, because if you're using it as a tuning tool you want to beable to adjust it accordingly. The last thing I would want to have to do is explain to someone how to adjust their tps, because that just seems like more work on your end for free, which in reality would cost them $ if they were to go to a mechanic to get the problem fixed.

I looked up your other profile, you're born the same year I am

By just looking at your website and seeing the things you ask the customers to do before a tune I already know you know your stuff

Mellon I asked about the car profile at the very very beginning when he first launched his app. it was the first thing I wanted done lol. This things turning into a badass app quick tho........... Just shows when someone knows their languages very well how easy it is for them to clean their own code up.

I got the mail. Got it reading the text versions of EMS logs ... BUT ... those samples are REALLY close together. Im going to have to make a trim function to trim some of those out. Its showing 8000 horsepower due to them being so close together. I spent a little time trying to handle blank cells in the data but Im waiting on some clarification on something related so Ill hold on it till I get some info back.

Im going to study for a little while so it may be later on when I get back to this.

Just updating you guys.

Well it is possible to limit the rate of the log if needed... Eager to see what you come up with.

Ohh it graphs now ... Im just wondering what the best avenue of attack is because it is WAAAAAY too fast of a sample rate. There are some in the same millisecond which is probably a little too fast for the algorithm used to calculate horsepower. Im sure I could use every so many entries but Im wondering if and how I could trim / detect this issue.

Any thoughts?
