I believe the last guy is just giving direction for Brad. I like the image and info he provided.

I liked his chart too. Looks just like DJ.

Im just confussed because it seems like he iss also working on a dyno program, which would be the 3rd person currently working on dyno programs. I dont know if need 3 virtual dyno programs, maybe though.

Sorry for the confusion. I was giving direction. Showing what is possible.

However I write software for a living so I was bored over the weekend. I just made something for me to play with.

So you hacked/tweaked Brads original program?

You should get with him or Jamie and help get this thing as close to 100%.

Anyway you guys can add Iat input?

No, I wrote my own from scratch. I did use the same ZedGraph Lib and the Horsepower Calculation.

The hard part with all of that data input is building the scale for it. You really only have X, Y, Y2. So All of the data needs to have an X = RPM, and it can have either or Y.

So like on mine, I made my AFR box show AFR, Boost, and Timing. Because that is very relivent to tuning for hp.

As with VirtualDyno and Virtual Dyno Room the magic is in the Horsepower calculation, and I woudl suspect that at some point in time, the Horsepower Calculations will be adjusted so that they will match DynoJet, Mustang, DynoPacks, ect.

For this software what I would be looking for is a good all around software that will match real dyno data within 2%.

Send me a log to look at. Also send me a picture of what you got at a dyno or something to compare to. Ill take a look at why its overinflating your numbers. It seems to be spot on for others though so its got to be something weird.

Let me know. (We will get it hammered out.)

Thanks,

Got a few tweaks to perform before I release 1.0.0.4

Got a lot of little things fixed / cleaned up. Im taking the advice of changing the look of the graph. Ive been putting off changing it up a bit, and it finally got to me so I broke down to mess with it. I will be working on a tire size calculator next as soon as I get done playing interior decorator (referring to the graph).

itzwolf ... do I need to get you a benzodiazepine to treat that anxiety? Just kidding. Ill get it out here asap. Been working on class work but maybe tomorrow will be a whole day dedicated to this ... Im wishing ... but we will have to wait and see.

Back to work ...
