I was on a mustang dyno last night and for all 8 pulls this vd was within 3hp. I had it set to mustang mode, and had the weight at what I use on the street. The guy i rented the dyno from was very skeptical when I was talking about it before the pulls. Then once he saw it was only 1hp off on the first 3 pulls he was liking it.

The peak torque was off 10-15 tho. Power curves looked the same.

 

NICE!!! Way to convert another skeptic. I love those stories.

 

same logs as you were on the dyno may be why the torque is off...

Also weighed my 2005 SSL and it weighed in at 3280 with the gas light on yesterday... so add 100 lbs for a full tank of gas and that would be around 3380 lbs or so... Just letting you know so if you wanted to update the vehicle settings with the SSL stuff...

 

I weighed my SSL with me in it and a full tank of gas at 3540. I also have about 50lbs of stereo equipment though. I weigh about 175 so sounds about right

 

Sorry for my ignorance but what the heck is an SSL ... year models it applied to, manual or automatic trans, gear ratios ... the usual jazz Id need to add a car.

I mean is there enough of a difference to warrant a whole car entry for it? I mean the X has the SSS package but the weight diff doesnt make enough diff to matter.

 

Oh no I don't think so. For SSL people just add 100lbs to the normal gsr weight.

 

Thought there was version 1.10 out now? Went to the site and theres only 1.08.

 

As far as I know some people have the pre-production version 1.10 but its not live yet. Just have to wait

Why do you want 1.10 when it hasnt been fully tested and finished yet. Thats why its not released yet.
